THIS BATCH IS FROM BAILEY AND COPPER 4-18-10

|
 | Bucky from Bailey and Copper's batch 4-18-10-new parents are Steph & Neil Sticka Kim was very easy to work with, it all started weeks before we could even bring our puppy home. She allowed us to come to her house and select our puppy and hold him before buying one. Bucky has been a great dog, he seemed to be kennel trained since before we got him. He doesn't whine, bark or hesitate to go into his kennel which made nights much easier at the start. Bucky has a great laid back attitude, we have brought him around all our family- small kids and other dogs and he is happy to play with anyone. My husband started him bird hunting this past fall. He is catching on well, zig-zagging in front of him flushing up birds. He had fun finding a bird, little playful with it, but he was only about 6 months old. Thank you for such a great companion and furry addition to our family! Steph & Neil Sticka, Green Bay WI |

Buffy - pup from Bailey and Copper batch 4-18-10 new parents Beth Martens She is very active and we love her to pieces. Buffy is my companion and physical therapy. Buffy is so fast it is hard to get a picture that is not blurry. She sleeps through the night in our room in her little soft sided "camper". that is the only crate we use. |

Bentley-Bailey and Copper Batch 4-18-10 batch-Anne and Jason Kuhnz new parents Bentley is doing great!! Last night he slept through the night without crying. As soon as I get up for work at 5:30 he wants to be up and playing too......Badger(his big brother) and him seem to get along fine.......Bentley followed him instantly....he likes to jump on Badger and bite him wherever he can and most times Badger just walks away. A few times he's just laid there and let Bentley crawl all over him(depending on how tired he is)....so all is well! Thank you again for your new addition, we love him! Anne Kuhnz Here is the most recent picture of Bentley. He is a cutie!!!! He gets away with a lot because you can't help but laugh and smile at him. Everyone loves him! He does like to jump on things(sofa, chairs, end tables, etc...) We think he's just being a mischiveous puppy, but other times we think he knows EXACTLY what he's doing,,,,,hmmmmmm,,,he's a smart one. Anne We haven't touched base in a while and Bentley is doing great, not very big but full of energy (he's skinny as a rail at about 30 pounds and eats more than Badger). I attached a copy of our Christmas card so you can see a new picture of him. He didn't like the snow until Badger started running around and rolling in it and now Bentley does the same. It is really cute how they have such different personalities but do the same things. I hope you are feeling better and we'll periodically send updates. Thanks for everything. Jason Kuhnz |

Parker-Bailey and Copper 4-18-10 batch -new parents Dan and Laura Brehm Referral Letter: I am delighted to send this referral letter to the Hanke Family regarding their business of breeding Tri Color Springer Spaniels. I have been a dog owner(lover) all of my life. Starting at the age of 8. My first family dog was a german shepherd (sheby), which was the most obedient dog that you could have ever ask for. Then off to college and my cocker spaniel, Arthur, help me stay in check with the reality of college homework. Now on to adult life. I have had the pleasure of having several Labrador Retrievers as part of my family ; Yellow, Black, and Brown. I was very particular to my black lab, Coach. I was definitely getting a carbon copy of him when he went to heaven. Well unfortunately my husband had other plans and surprised me with my first springer spaniel- Drake. I came to realize that this particular breed is not only a stellar hunter, but the most lovable pooch know to man. Did not think that Drake could be topped in the adorable, handsome, obedient department. WELLLLLLLLLLL this brings me to the Hanke Family and our newest addition, Parker(10 months). He is the most, adorable, lovable, good natured puppy I could have ever asked for. Now do not let me fool you, he definitely has a sassy side to him, and he does love the great outdoors, but he would be a wonderful addition to any family. Kids, Dogs, Adults , the Mail Man, all love Parker. I am very hard pressed not to get another puppy from the Hanke's next liter this spring 2011, but the ordinance in my town would require I get a farming permit in order to have 3 dogs. LOL. I can tell you when the time is right, I will definitely be visiting the Hanke Family for the newest addition to my family. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Please take the time to visit the Hanke Family you wil not be leaving without the newest addition to your family. Best Wishes Laura Brehm 414-915-8867 Laura Brehm |

Lucy-Bailey and Copper batch 4-18-10-new mommy Jess and family HI! No, I did reply, I didn't see til today that your mailbox refused it because my email was too large! I tried to attatch 3 photos, and I guess that was too big, the mailor deamon said so. Sorry about that! Ive been busy with summer activities, running around here and there. Anyway, yes, Lucy is awesome, very sweet puppy, all is good! We've had minimal accidents in the house, mainly due to one of the kids letting her out of her kennel, and not taking her out right away. Other than that, she is always with us, and very spoiled. She sleeps in the kennel at night with all her toys. She does love stuffed animals and her tennis balls. Thanks again, and keep in touch. Sorry it took me so long to respond. Thanks, Jess Lucy is good. Got her spayed about a month and a half ago, she did well. The surgery didn't slow her down at all, shes still very busy. Potty training is long over, shes a great dog. We have taught her to sit, shake, lay down and recently roll over. She loves to please and listens very well. She knows when shes in trouble, like when she chews up something that is not hers (which is tapering down)and she'll go hide in her kennel. Its funny. How are you? How are the dogs? I lost your website address, people have asked where I got her, so I need it for recommendations.... Thanks for the shout out, I was just thinking about you the other day. Jess |

Sadie-Baileyand Copper batch of pups 4-18-10 new parents Laurie Mineau and family Hi Kim and Andy, We are doing fine.Sadie is just a doll, and we get a lot of compliments about her. Sadie and Bucky play all the time. They get along great! We took Sadie and Bucky up north, and they just love to swim and go for walks in the woods. They both get along well with the other dogs that are up north. My neighbor and her two daughters just love her. They take great care when we are gone. Sadie I will say is agressive when it comes to Bucky, but Bucky gives it right back. They vet visits are great! They love her. Sadie is going to get spayed on the 16th of September. I am so happy that I have her. She is such a lover and great company for me now that my son is at college. She follows me whereever I go. Gives me lots of kisses. I do have pictures but don't know how to send them over to you on the computer. I don't think that I have that capabilty to do that. Just know that she is well taking care of, and a joy to have. She is getting more and more spots on her. Bucky looks just like Baily, and Sadie takes after her Dad. She loves her walks and enjoys meeting other people. I will try to keep you posted more often. They both are getting so big. Laurie Mineau Dear Kim and Andy, Thank you so much for all tender loving care that you give to little ones. They are awesome and everyone that has seen Sadie and Bucky really love them. I wanted you both to know that Sadie and Bucky slept all the way home. Bucky barked and had to potty. Now Sadie on the other hand waited until we got home and went right away. They both are so close now. We got the cutest picture of the two of them all intertwined and playing together, I had to laugh, I will send that one when I get it. Just know that they are doing fine and happy, without you guys giving them all the love and care , they wouldnt be the puppys they are. You do a teriffic job! I will definately recommend you whenever I want a second one, or someone who is looking for one. You raise awesome dogs. I am so glad that I found you. Take care, and we will take very good care of Bucky and Sadie, and keep you posted. Laurie Hi Kim, We went up north for family reunion. My sister n law is here from Florida, and she brought her lab casey. It was dog heaven up there. Sadie stayed by our cabin without wandering into the next cousins yards. She started to go but I said to her come and she turned right back around and came. I was so happy, she got a lot of love for that. Casey really watched out for her, she tried to teach sadie how to swim, and she did follow her in but not to far. She just loves the tall grass, and all the new friends she met. Bucky and Sadie played alot. One of the big dogs loves to play fetch, but he had to big of stick and accidently poked bucky in the head, and Bucky cried. We all went running including Sadie to see what was the matter. He survived, no injurys, but leary of the bigger dogs. Sadie is a different story though, she likes the big dogs, she never gives up, she knows when to lay down flat so the other dogs jump over her, and to move out of the way. She is a barrel of laughs, everyone was in stitches. There are so many compliments on both of the dogs. I wish you had some cards that I could give to people. They really like your dogs. Talk to you soon. Laurie |

Saber-Bailey and Copper batch 4-18-10-Kelley BonDurant Hi Kim. Thought I'd give an update on Saber. She did just great on the car ride home last night! She played with us in the back yard before we retired for the night.Hardly whined at all when we put her in her crate for the night. She only ate half of a cup of food last night and didn't seem really interested in finishing the rest. Do you think it would be fine to feed her a half cup of food four times a day? I was also wondering how much water she should be consuming . She's been drinking some water(several laps when I show her her water dish), but to me, it doesn't seem like much. Other than that, she is very happy and good natured. I'll send pictures after we've all adjusted. Thanks, Kelley

Selma-Bailey and Copper batch 4-18-10 - Dave-Bonnie and Kat Ratzlaff-new parents Thank you Kim. I know that having puppies is a TON of work and the fact that you spent a lot of quality time with them is very much evident in how great they turn out. Selma is turning out to be a little sales person for you. Her personality and temperment is just so wonderful. I will let my sister in law know to watch your website as well as my neighbor who is also interested. I think both thought spring would be better for them. Hope all goes well with your treatment…..I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers! Bonnie Ratzlaff Just thought I would give you an up date on our little girl. We just had her to the vet for another round of shots. Up to 18 pounds! She is very healthy and doing great. She's very smart and has learned all of her basic commands. Although if she has a distraction, all commands are ignored. We are working on walking. I'm afraid that we've somewhat spoiled her. A few weeks ago I pulled in her bed with me while I read. She spent the nite in bed and has been ever since. Nothing like waking up to puppy kisses at 5 a.m.! She is a perfect companion. She gets along with our other dog and two cats as well as the neighborhood children. She is still somewhat timid when she hears unfamiliar sounds and can be a little shy. We're working with her but a little bit of this is good since it will keep her from running off on an adventure. She is definitely a velcro dog. Anyway just wanted to let you know she is doing great and we absolutely love her! All the best, Bonnie Ratzlaff Hi Kim, Just checking in to let you know that she is doing exceptionally well! She was very comfortable during the car ride. About 15 miles out, she was curious about the back seat so Kate put her back there. She fell asleep until we got home. She is doing well with the other animals. Stella pretty much ignored her after the first few snifs. My male cat, Finch, and her are getting along great (he's the one that acts like a dog) and Eva, well, all was well when Eva was following Saber but then when Saber followed her, Eva slapped her with a paw. She ate really well and the potty, o my gosh! I'm amazed at how well she does for being so young. She is now snuggled in her bed (in crate) next to my husbands side of the bed. She is one tired little girl! Neighbors and family stopped over and we had quite a bit of discussion about a name. We all just kept throwing names out but Thelma stuck. We seriously tried to come up with something beginning with an "S" or "B" . Just wanted to let you know that she's doing great. The transition hasn't seemed to bother her at all. Very laid back little girl. All the best! Bonnie Kim, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! Dave and I cannot wait to bring her home! She is a wonderful little girl and I can tell she comes from a very loving family. I promise that we will love and take care of her. Thank you again Kim and if we don't see you today, we will keep in touch to let you know how Saber is doing. Bonnie

Shotzy- Bailey and Copper 4-18-10 batch of pups new mommy-Sher Feuerhammer Kim, hello, and Happy New Year to you and yours. May it be a healthy, blessed, prosperous year for you. I’ve attached pics of Shotzy from December. She is the love of our lives. She is not only gorgeous but oh so smart! I’ve never seen such a smart pup. Her personality is just unbelievable! She has times she thinks she is a lion and gets really “mean”…..growling from the tip of her back toes and diving bombing you! then you have to grab her, hold her down for a minute and she returns to her normal, fabulous personality…..it’s all a game and it is hilarious!!!! She is a terrible bandit, also! that is another game! She’ll grab anything she can reach off the counters and take off! Good luck catching her! Generally we give her duck treats (her favorites, of course) to get her to drop the goods! Now I have started to say…”go outside…out the front” which means she will go on the chain and get to play for as long as she wants!!!! Won’t be long and she’ll catch onto that one, too!!!!!! She loves to ride in the car/truck and we’ve taken her in the semi….she gets on the floor behind the shifting lever and falls asleep…must be the vibrations. She also loves to go to the vet and to Pet Smart to visit. She is quite a star when around others. She gets so many compliments on her beauty, at which point she will wag her tail and jump up onto the person !!! can’t break her of that habit but it’s cute so it’s ok!!!! I would love to see pics of the pooch you kept and also of Shotzy’s sisters and bro’s. Do you have any you can send me? I’m so happy to hear from you again, Kim. I hope your health is right up there where it should be. You have been so wonderful to work with and your continued interest in how the pups are doing is just wonderful. It most certainly says a lot about YOU! You take care now and God bless and blessings to you all. Sher Feuerhammer |
