New Owners
The Sorenson Family

I have attached two pictures of Tanner. One when she was younger and the second
one is current around 5-6 months old. Here is the description:
Tanner is a beautiful tri-color Springer spaniel. She is around 35 lbs at 6
months old and is pretty much full grown. Buying her was the best thing we ever
choose to do. She is so free-spirited and looks for nothing but attention, but
in return she gives you many moments of laying by your feet, sleeping on your
lap or even playing fetch outside for hours. She had some bad habits the first
few months, but with consistent discipline she's broken through those habits and
has turned into a wonderful dog. She loves to play with her toys and always
keeps herself busy. Tanner loves to be around people. Even at 6 months old we
are able to let her outside without a leash and not have to worry about her
running away because she is more worried about where you are then anything else.
She was very easy to train and the Hanke's were always willing to help when we
had questions. They raise some amazing dogs, and we are glad we choose a dog
from this family instead of others we had looked at.

DHARMA AND BETTY- 12-1-08 ( Dharma is the L/W/T-n-Betty is B/W/T)
PARENTS ARE COOKIE & MARCUS

Dharma and Betty are the center of
our lives, we can't imagine life without them.  They have been very easy,
easy dogs to train, there temperaments are perfect and all there vet visits have
gone flawlessly.

Betty is eager to learn and eager to please, she is VERY outgoing, she enjoys
other dogs that come over and she is nice with our cat as well.  We picked out
Betty the day we came to look at Dharma and we feel SO gratefull we decided to
take them both. Betty makes her presence known with her personality and her
beauty.  We call Dharma our thinker, she never makes a move without a purpose
or command, she is calm and cool, and when you look in her eyes and talk to
her she understands every word you say, she is SMART!!!!!!  Both girls LOVE to
play fetch, they always, always bring the ball, toy, stick right back and hang
on to it until you tell them to drop it.  We really didn't have to work
with them that much with the fetch, it pretty much came naturally.  Now that it
is up-north season for us again, the dogs are SO happy,  they have so much land
to run through.  They stay together in the woods and stay in eyes distance and
are always looking back
for us.  The first and last pictures are of them up north with us,   the
one with them on the deck almost looks like they are smiling,    I wanted you
to get a close up one of them because there faces have changed so much since
they were little,  they have so many more freckles and we get SO many
compliments on how pretty Betty is.

Our experience with you as the breeders couldn't have been better for us as
first time dog owners.  I keep your e-mail saved to give to anyone who I think
is SERIOUS about owning a dog like ours.

Hope you like the pictures,
Cookie

Laila 12-1-08
New owner Ben

Laila is doing well. I’ve been taking her to our local dog park for a few hours every day. She has made a lot of friends and is well socialized with other dogs and people. When I have her in the front yard she ignores other barking /unsocial dogs that walk by. She is also very submissive to everyone she meets especially to us. I take her everywhere I go, to softball and volleyball and everyone loves her. She’s pretty quiet in the house, never barks. The only time she barks or growl is when she wants to go to the park and play.

I took her with me to interview a dog training kennel and she showed strong parry drive. They threw out a clipped wing bird and she was all over it. I also took her to MO on my uncle’s farm and she pointed and hunted down chickens and all kinds of farm animals. She also keeps close guard of rabbits, squirrels and birds around the house. Can't wait to introduce her to gun fire. She’s not afraid of my motorcycle, thunderstorms or airplanes landing (at the dog park) so I think she’ll be fine.

Other than that her cuteness lets her get away with a lot.

Attached are some photos of Laila
Thank you for all your help,
Ben

New Owner Michelle & family

Hi Kim,
I just wanted to let you know how happy we have been with Sadie.  She is a
very smart, very energetic puppy.  She was easy to train and seems to have a
real hunting instinct.  She will chase up any bird in the neighborhood.  She
is great with kids and has brought our family quite a bit of joy.
I would certainly recommend this family of spring spaniels to anyone who is
thinking about getting a new puppy.
Thanks again,
Michele Schultz

Jojo is my 6th month old liver and white Springer Spaniel.  He and doing very well with his basic commands and learning quickly.  Jojo's temperament is very good;  shy, quiet, calm, playful.  He gets along well with other dogs (large and small) and is great with kids.  He has a calm demeanor which makes him a great house pet.  He doesn't like being left alone; but, that's because I take him almost everywhere I go.

I wouldn't trade Jojo for any animal as he is turning into a fine companion and friend.

every minute of it. They are mama girls untill Marcus gets his hunting

They are a joy to watch in the woods. We can't believe they are 2

wedding update Betty and Dharma

Hello,
Sorry it has taken so long to get you these photos. My computer has
been out for a while, just got it back up. The photo of the girls in
wedding atire was for our wedding, we used there picture as the
backround for our table # tags for the tables. Everyone loved them.
Dharma's wedding atire is ligit, but Betty's was photo shoped, but still
looks cute.

I know it has been a while, I have been busy planning a wedding, which
we had on 5/21/2010. We had pictures of the girls on every table so
they could be a part of the wedding. I don't know what we ever did
without them, they are beautiful dogs and so very goo. They have
gotten so mature, they can now stay in the house with no restrictions
while we are gone to work, they still have to stay in there own room
with the door shut at night because they want to sleep with us.....and
it is just to warm with both dogs and a cat.

They love the water and Marcus takes them in the woods a lot, just last
weekend Betty flushed 2 grouse while we were walking in our woods up
north, she gets so excited!!!! They contiune to amaze us everyday and
we just love our Betty and Dharma. I have forwarded some pictures of
them to you.
Take care,

Cookie

Tanner updates
I just thought I'd send you an updated picture of Tanner for Christmas!
She is doing great. She loves to sleep in her kennel (no more whining yay!) and within the first few days of having her she let us know when she had to go outside to go poop haha we are still working on the peeing, but she seems to be learning real fast. We taught her how to sit within a day and shake soon followed. She knows to shake about 95% of the time. The other training is still in progress. I think she prefers human fingers to all her toys; she did get some dog bones for Christmas and they have been a savior so far.
Hope you had a good holiday and have a safe new year!

Tanner updates

Hello again!
It's been a while since I sent you updated pictures of Tanner. Now that she's 6 months old and pretty much fully grown I thought I would.
She's such a sweetheart and LOVES being outside. She wants so much attention that we can have her outside off the leash and we don't need to worry about her running away because she's always at your side. She's very good at retrieving and has mastered some good commands like sit, stay and heel, and even some fun ones like shake and crawl.
I am so glad that we bought her from you guys she is such an amazing dog and brings so much life into our house. As of what I've heard about her father it sounds like she is just like him. She uses her paws for everything! She'll even lay on her back and hold a toy up in the air. She also loves to lay by your feet, or be at your feet whenever she can. She loves to get her belly rubbed and lay between your legs if you're sitting in a chair. I don't know if your dogs do this, but she is really good at walking on her hind legs. It's really weird, but she can stand straight up for a good 15 seconds. It's amusing to watch.

Tanner updates-The  Birthday Girl!

Last time we weighed her she was 40lbs but she could be 45 now. She seems to be filling out more instead of getting taller. And she sure loves to eat! She's in the transition right now from puppy food to adult food and she has all her food gone by 10am most days! She used to eat a little throughout the whole day now its all at once.

Even though she weighs that much she still thinks she's a lap dog. She loves to lay between our legs and be held in our arms when we are standing - which is becoming quite difficult now that she weighs a lot.

I will tell her happy birthday from you guys and give her a big hug and kiss too- even though she gets those from me all day everyday! Its funny if you ask her where momma is she runs to me. If you ask her where gramma or grandpa is she runs to my parents.
